Why Finish Your Detox With A Salt Water Cleanse

As you near the end of your detox diet, top it off with a complete and immediate flush such as the salt water cleanse.  Also known as the salt water flush, this process is great for clearing out your digestive tract after your cleansing program.  It's important that you keep in mind that the salt water cleanse is not for use as a detox, if your desire a more thorough detoxification regimen try either the lemon juice detox the raw food diet, the salt water cleanse process is only intended to give your digestive tract a final cleansing before you return to your usual diet.

In order to complete this cleanse you'll need 1 quart of water boiled or distilled and 1-1/2 teaspoons of sea salt.  Natural store bought sea salt is better and if you can find natural freshly ground sea salt in your health food store that would be best. However under no circumstances will regular table iodized salt do.  The refining process alters the molecular weight of the salt rendering it no good for this purpose.

As you know, if you were stranded on a boat in the ocean you could die of dehydration.  This is because the weight of sea salt water is the same as your blood therefore your body does not recognize it.  This is the same premise working with this flush, this saltwater mixture is as indigestible as ocean water and your body will expel it within 2 hours like an internal enema.

To prepare your cleanse: with your water at room temperature, add the salt and mix until the salt is completely dissolved and chug.  As difficult as it may be, it's important to finish as much of the liquid you can in one sitting.  If you're having trouble getting it all down within 20 minutes you may want to decrease the amount of salt to 1 teaspoon.

Because the salt water cleanse is similar to an internal enema, you must have immediate and regular access to the bathroom.  Everyone is different but the mixture can travel through your digestive tract in as little as 45 minutes so be ready.  Also keep in mind that when this flush evacuates your colon it will be accompanied by everything you've eaten for the past couple of days, this is another reason why the salt water cleanse should only be used following a detox diet.  It would become quite painful to your stomach and senses to attempt this level of intestinal flush on a system filled with regular food.

As with any water cleansing program, results will from person to person.  Some people can finish their bowel cleaning in a couple of hours others may take a little longer especially the first couple of tries.  One thing that is common among all who try this is that there is quite a bit of additional energy and a great appetite.

When You Are Ready To Detoxify Choose A Herbal Cleanse

Deciding upon a cleansing program can be confusing, for every program there are drawbacks and benefits that will affect every person differently. Certain steps must be followed; strict diets must be adhered to as well as the importance of maintaining the proper amount of fluids daily.

The herbal cleanse program is probably the most user friendly because you have the freedom to choose from a wider variety of foods and supplements.

Cleansing the body can be, accomplished in several ways.  You could go to your family doctor and get a prescription.  You will most likely receive strong laxatives, enemas, or a pill.  This method is not only expensive but brutal on your system.  During the process it's wise not to stray more than 20 feet from the bathroom.

Another option is a diet comprised solely of fluids.  These are acceptable for short term (less than a week) but the human body was designed for solid food.  Go long enough without and you run the risk of dysentery or diarrhea.  Just imagine, how difficult it would be to maintain these liquid only diets, in addition to getting used to lack of solid food having diarrhea and cramping makes maintaining any program almost impossible.  This is also very dangerous and not recommended. Your body must have the major, healthy food choices to survive.

However, the herbal cleanse is the solution to your body cleansing situation.  Using natural herbal supplements and whole fresh foods you can detoxify using a safe and effective method that is healthy for your body.  Allowing you to eat and still cleanse your body at once.

Remember that to see results from your herbal cleanse you must maintain strict adherence to the program so before committing to any particular program walk through the entire process from the beginning to the end to ensure that you're comfortable with what will be required.  Most herbal cleanses can be completed in less than 2 weeks and are simple to follow.  The best herbal cleanses are supplemented with fresh, nutritious fruits, vegetables, juices, and water to ensure your body has everything needed to survive and flourish during the cleansing process.

You may feel tired at the beginning of any cleansing program, but you'll begin to perk up as your body begins to dispose of the gunk in your system.  The cleanse helps your body run properly again and will boost your energy levels drastically.  After only a few days, you'll notice a feeling of lightness and increased energy.  Take advantage of this and use it to get things done.

And like I said, although this is a product specifically on the market for pregnant women anyone with extremely dry skin can use it to soften their skin.

Stretch marks can be unsightly. Tummy Honey Butter is just that product. Buy it, rub it in and start to feel the difference in your skin almost immediately. Luxuriate in the softness and suppleness of your skin adn your spouse will not be able to resist touching you either. Stretch Mark Home Remedy

If you have just had a baby or have lost a lot of weight then you have no doubt seen that you have acquired some stretch marks. Now you are looking for a stretch mark home remedy.
Someone should have told you that you could minimize the appearance of stretch marks during the time you were pregnant and maybe they did but I think that stretch marks are pretty much inevitable in any case.

So a good stretch mark home remedy starts with you and having the patience to see results before you start running to the plastic surgeon for help. That step may come in time but let's try this first.

Cocoa butter is wonderful. It penetrates the skin all the way down to the dermis, moisturizing as it goes to treat even the deepest stretch marks. Apply a good amount of cocoa butter to your stretch marks at least three times a day. Remember that you may not start to see results from this treatment for several weeks to a month, so be patient.

Lanolin is another good one to use. It basically works the same way and if you can find a product that contains both cocoa butter and lanolin you will probably see results faster. Do not quote me because everyone is different and you just need to try it to find out for yourself.

Mostly, this is how you will get rid of the stretch marks, by rubbing them down with creams and emollients. If you are diligent then you should have some success in at least reducing how bad they look. If you do not see any improvement then you may want to go to see a plastic surgeon and get a consult to see what can be done. But I think with some work on your part you should see some improvement in a few weeks to a month from now.

Obviously if you are rubbing yourself down with these creams then you are also giving yourself a good massage, too. Massaging an area will increase blood flow to that area and make it feel better. Deep massage also helps to break up scar tissue and that is what stretch marks are or at least they can cause scar tissue to build up making the stretch mark area look even worse.

Ah, yes, one more suggestion, go to the store and buy some vitamin E capsules or see of you can find some vitamin E oil somewhere and rub it into your skin. Vitamin E is important for skin health and will greatly improve your skin's elasticity. If all you can find is capsules you may need to use more than one to cover the area with the stretch marks. Puncture the capsule and squeeze out the oil and rub into your skin. get as good coverage as you can.

All this plus eating a well balanced diet with lots of protein and vitamins and minerals to help your skin stay healthy is a very important and will go a long way to being a major factor in your stretch mark home remedy.

Mixed Spasmodic Dysphoria

There are several types of voice disorders that can affect your ability to speak. Since speech is integral to communicating, it can be difficult to have to deal with these disorders. Mixed spasmodic dysphoria is a condition where you have difficulty speaking because of sudden involuntarily muscle spasms of the larynx.

The exact cause is unknown and while there are some treatment options available, there is no cure at this time. If you have some speech problems you should consult your doctor for a diagnosis and possible treatment options.

Spasmodic dysphonia (SD) can occur in three ways, adductor, abductor and mixed spasmodic dysphoria. The adductor form of SD is when the muscles of the vocal cords slam the cords together. The vocal cords can also stiffen which make it very difficult for the vocal cords to vibrate and form words the way they are supposed to. Words can become shortened and hard to form.

Speech will then sound hoarse or "choppy".  When someone suffers from this condition their speech will sound strained. The unusual aspect of this condition is that it rarely, if ever, occurs when someone is laughing, singing, speaking in an unnaturally high pitch, or whispering.

The other version of SD, abductor, occurs when the muscle spasms cause the vocal cords to remain open. This open position lets a lot of air escape when you speak. Because of this, your voice will sound weak, wispy, breathy and like you are whispering.

And, like what occurs with adductor SD, you rarely see these symptoms occur when laughing, singing, whispering, etc.

And finally, mixed SD. This is when the muscle spasm affect both the muscles that open and close the vocal cords at different times. Again, this tends not to happen when someone is laughing, whispering, singing, etc.

SD can affect anyone at anytime though there does seem to be some evidence to indicate that women are affected slightly more than men. There is no known cause for this disorder, though it appears to a "mal function" in the area of the brain called the basal ganglia, this is the area of the brain that controls muscle movements in the body.

The treatment options can range from mild to fairly invasive and all the way up to surgical remedies. Here are a few of the more common treatments available.

In some more mild cases, voice therapy may be able to offer some relief.
Another common treatment is a small Botox injection at the site of the spasm, on the larynx. Botox will actually temporarily weaken the muscles which can help reduce spasms.

Mixed spasmodic dysphoria is a problem that can affect anyone at anytime and make it very difficult to communicate effectively. It can lead to feelings of inadequacy and social anxiety. But, the good news is that there are various methods of treatment that can help. Consult your doctor and see what your options are. You don't have to suffer needlessly, you may find some relief easier than you had thought possible.

Spasmodic Dysphonia Cure-You Can Find The Right One For You

Speech is the primary method for communicating with people. And while many of us take this for granted, there are those who suffer from afflictions that prevent them from speaking normally. A common ailment in this regard is spasmodic dysphonia, it causes the vocal cords to spasm causing stuttering and other sounds to get in the way of speech.

People affected by this will often search for a spasmodic dysphonia cure, unfortunately such a cure does not exist yet. However all hope is not lost, while doctors have yet to come up with a cure, they have devised treatments that can greatly diminish the symptoms of spasmodic dysphonia, and allow you to speak more easily.

One of the ways you can treat spasmodic dysphonia is by getting an injection into your vocal cords. The injection consists of a toxin that weakens the vocal cords and reduces the spasms, allowing for a more clear and natural voice.

The downsides to this method is that, like all treatments, there's side effects. Some of the side effects include a weak and breathy voice and trouble swallowing. Ontop of that it wears off after a couple months, requiring you to get injects every three to four months.

Now if that doesn't sound like something you want to deal with, there are other treatments you could try. But keep in mind, none of these treatments are full proof and it's all about finding the right treatment for you.

Another treatment you can try is voice therapy. Voice therapy will help teach you how to control the spasms in more mild cases, much the same way you'd train your hand to stop shaking. While not viable for more severe cases, it can prove to be quite beneficial for those with only mild cases.

There is also the ability to use devices that are made to help your voice. These devices can do a number of things from increasing the volume of your voice to help make it more clear, or synthesize it all together.

These devices can be quite handy for those with more severe cases, however they are not a spasmodic dysphonia cure, merely a stop gap measure. Regardless they can help you communicate with other people more easily.

If all else fails there is still one more thing you can try. Surgery on the larynx can be done to help cure the symptoms of spasmodic dysphonia. However the benefits of this treatment have yet to be proven and it is quite expensive.

No matter what treatment you use always remember that science is ever progressing. Fifty years ago we didn't have much of what we have today, so fifty years from now could look like something out of a science fiction movie.

So while there may not be a spasmodic dysphonia cure now, it may be right around the corner. Until then you just have to remain positive and try your best to deal with your condition. Those treatments may not be perfect, but they should help you in overcoming the limitations you face.

Laser Stretch Mark Removal Before And After

When you are considering laser stretch mark removal before and after pictures will tell you if you have had the results you were looking for. The best way to do this is to take a picture of your stretch marks before the procedure and then after you have healed. There should be a marked difference in their appearance.

Laser removal of stretch marks was deemed safe by the FDA back in 2002. As with any surgery there are risks adn side effects involved and you should always get your procedure done by a qualified professional. Make sure the surgeon you choose is board certified and is willing to show you laser stretch mark removal before and after pictures of clients they have had in the past. If they are reluctant to show these pictures then move on to someone who will.

Stretch marks occur on the skin as a result of the skin being over-stretched for some length of time. Small tears in the collagen and elastin fibers of the skin is the cause. These collagen and elastin fibers just can't keep up with the stretching of the skin and once torn have a difficult time repairing themselves. In fact, they usually do not and you are left with stretch marks.

In the beginning, they can be red or purple in color and eventually do fade to white just like any other scar on your body. They may even have a silvery sheen to them. Once you have them they can be difficult to get rid of and may not completely go away, so prevention is best but if that does not do the trick you may consider having some laser surgery to reduce their appearance.

How it works is, the laser is passed over the area and pulsed several times. As the laser works, it stimulates the collagen and elastin fibers to produce more and they will fill in the areas and help shrink the existing scars, as well.

Some women choose to try creams and lotions called body butter that basically do the same thing. Increased production of collagen and elastin fibers is key. Healthy skin does that on it's own and if you improve the health of your skin with diet, exercise and the use of these creams you may find you do not need the laser treatments.

Sometimes the topical creams are just not enough, though, and there is a need for further exploration to fix them. That is where the surgeon comes in. One of the best ways to find a surgeon is to ask the people you know for referrals. Maybe someone you know has had good results with this same type of procedure. If so, ask them about what they went through then call for your first appointment.

The surgeon will go over all of your options, show you laser stretch mark removal before and after pictures and then you can make your informed decision about what is right for your situation.

Kick Start Your Diet With A Whole Body Cleanse

Almost every aspect of our health is distilled from the substances we put into our bodies.  When you treat your body to a whole body cleanse, you're cleansing your system of the harmful toxins that often find their way into our everyday foods.  These toxins are the result of preservatives and growth hormones, smoke and alcohol and once these substances build up they can lead to health problems and impair your ability to lose weight.

Cleansing and detoxifying helps you get rid of these toxins and allow your body to respond to your weight loss efforts.  There are natural ways of cleansing and detoxifying and under optimal conditions the body does a very good job of eliminating waste and other potentially harmful substances.  However considering the increases in pollution, environmental contaminants and the decrease in the convenience of natural whole foods, conditions are anything but optimal.

A whole body cleanse flushes your body of the toxins and waste products not eliminated naturally.  Not only will your body begin to respond to your weight loss efforts but will also feel rejuvenated, clean, and full of energy. An ideal state for weight loss.

Who Should Cleanse?

The Whole Body Cleanse will benefit anyone who tries it, but those who are trying to lose weight or are feeling sluggish, bloated or suffering from unexplained malaise will experience the most benefits.

One of the biggest hindrances to weight loss is getting your body accustomed to new and healthier foods choices.  When you begin a new weight loss plan and attempt to eat healthier, your body continues to crave the sugar, fat and refined carbohydrates that make up the average American diet.  Completing a cleanse allows your body to rid itself of those harmful substances and by detoxifying, you're essentially kick starting your diet with a clean slate.  Furthermore, the average 5-10 pounds of waste lost as a result of the cleanse is the perfect motivation to stick to your diet.

Although the whole body cleanse limits solid food, when conducted properly, your body will have all the nutrition it needs.  But remember that it should only be used for a short time to clean, detoxify and kick start your diet.

Be sure to adhere to the guidelines and provide your body with plenty of fluids and juices to thoroughly flush out your body and ensure that you're not being, deprived of foods, nutrients, or vitamins.

Is There A Good Eczema Natural Remedy- No Cure But Manage

Eczema is a skin condition that is also known as dermatitis and is very common among children and adults.  Infants who suffer from eczema may grow out of it by the time they are two or three years of age.  However, there are many people who will suffer from eczema their entire lives.  There is no cure for this irritating skin condition but there are some eczema natural remedy solutions that can help make the condition more manageable.

Some people will have mild eczema while others will have it quite severe.  Those who suffer from mild eczema will have an annoying rash that will be red and itchy.  Those who suffer from severe eczema can have extremely bad rashes that become inflamed, painful and quite embarrassing.  Regardless of whether you suffer mild or severe eczema, I'm sure you would love a good eczema natural remedy to help ease the symptoms.

People have suffered from eczema for hundreds of years and there have been many different natural remedies used to treat the condition.  There is one natural eczema treatment that has proven to be very effective for many people.

So what is this natural treatment?  Is it a combination of herbs or some strange ingredient?

The best eczema natural remedy is to make a complete lifestyle change.  You can go to your doctor about your eczema and he may prescribe you some ointment to use.  If you're lucky the ointment will help a little with your symptoms.  The best way to treat eczema is to take an active role and learn as much as you can about eczema, your body and why your body develops this condition.

What causes eczema?

Eczema is caused by one of three things or a combination of them.  These things are your diet, your environment and stress.  If you really want to reduce or even get rid of your eczema then it is important to take control of these three things.

Eczema is often the result of an allergic reaction to something and it can be food or something that touches your skin, such as soap or laundry powder.  If you can find what it is that triggers your eczema then you can avoid that trigger and therefore avoid eczema outbreaks.

It can be difficult to pinpoint the trigger to your eczema and you may be able to get help from an allergist.  To find the triggers on your own you will need to keep track of what you have done, touched or eaten prior to an eczema outbreak.  You can experiment with different soaps, laundry powders and shampoo to see if that helps reduce your eczema.

To find if you are reacting to any foods you can also seek help from an allergist.  Otherwise you can keep a food diary and then compare what you are eating to when you have eczema outbreaks.  If you begin to see a pattern of eczema flare ups following certain types of foods then try eliminating those foods from your diet and see if your condition improves.

Lastly, managing stress in your life will help to manage your eczema.  When you are under a lot of stress your immune system may struggle to keep up and eczema can be the result.  There are a number of different stress management techniques that you can use to reduce your stress levels.  If you want an effective eczema natural remedy then try to manage these three factors - diet, environment and stress.

Incidence Of Spasmodic Dysphonia

If you are wondering about the incidence of spasmodic dysphonia, you will be happy to know that this disorder affects only 2% of the population of the United States. By no means is this disorder life-threatening, although it is life-changing for those few who have it. It often strikes people between ages 20 and 50, and it affects women twice as often as it does  men. People say losing their voice affects their primary, intimate connection to the entire world and affects nearly every aspect of their lives. Many who suffer from this disorder have had to leave their jobs and have become quite isolated due to the debilitating nature of this condition.

For the handful of doctors who study this rare disorder, it is like pulling teeth to get it diagnosed, understand its causes, and train doctors across America to treat it. It is just not that well understood and a whole lot more research is needed to figure out what does cause this debilitating disorder.

It has been suggested that one of the causes is emotional stress, but if that is the case then I believe that way more than 2% of the population would be suffering from incidence of spasmodic dysphonia. I would tend to disagree with this assumption. But this disorder may very well be causing its share of emotional stress.

With the symptoms being so noticeable you can't help but stand out in a crowd. What are the symptoms? Spasmodic dysphonia is characterized as a disorder affecting the voice due to uncontrolled spasms, throat tightness, and frequent recurrent hoarseness. The most noticeable symptom is the acute absence of speech. All of a sudden your voice is just gone, for no reason.

Spasmodic dysphonia is grouped together with other disorders in the dystonia family. Dystonia is a group of muscle movement disorders that are characterized by involuntary muscle spasms. Abductor spasmodic dysphonia, adductor spasmodic dysphonia, and mixed spasmodic dysphonia  are the three types of this rare disorder and the more common type being the adductor spasmodic dysphonia. The cause of any of the types is unknown.

Spasmodic dysphonia is classified as neurogenic in origin. Because of this fact, the success of all the treatments aimed at the larynx is minimal at best. Research into the whole dystonia family has resulted in some very promising discoveries in the long-term solution to all of these disorders related to dystonia.

There is some derision of opinion in areas of the medical community that think the problem of spasmodic dysphonia is psychogenic, or all in their heads. Some studies agree with this and some other studies do not. Mostly the opinion that it is psychogenic is not upheld by everyone in the medical community.

The incidence of spasmodic dysphonia can occur all by itself but in many cases it occurs with several other neurologic muscle movement disorders such as blepharospasm (blinking excessively and involuntarily closing the eye forcibly), Tardive Dyskinesia (involuntary, repetitious movements of the face, tongue, arms and legs), and spasmodic torticollis (involuntary neck muscle movements).

Home Remedy Treatments For Eczema

Eczema is a very common skin condition with thousands of people worldwide suffering from this condition.  Home remedy treatments have been quite popular in helping to treat the symptoms of eczema.  Eczema will vary in severity from person to person and can take many forms with most being quite itchy and not all that attractive.

Eczema generally appears as a red rash on the skin and can be very dry and flakey.  In some severe case eczema can form painful blisters.  Although it doesn't really sound that bad to have a bit of a rash, some sufferers will have it quite severe to an extent that it can cause bleeding every time something touches their skin.

It can be very painful for an eczema sufferer to do the dishes as the water can irritate the skin as well as the detergent. Washcloths and sponges can be quite painful to use.  Some soaps and laundry powders can make the condition much worse.  Eczema can affect people's lives quite drastically and when medications have failed, they may turn to home remedy treatments to treat their condition.

There is no cure for eczema so it is more a matter of controlling the symptoms of the condition.  Prescribed medications and visits to the doctor over the years can become very expensive.  Using home remedies can save money as well as preventing any unwanted side effects that prescribed medications can have.

When using home remedies you should make sure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients you are using.  Although home remedies use natural ingredients some people may still be allergic to them and you don't want anything that will make your skin condition any worse.  Many natural products have healing attributes that can help to reduce the itching and rash of eczema.

Honey is one home remedy that is quite effective in treating eczema.  You will need to mix honey with another ingredient such as olive oil or an unscented lotion, this will help the skin to absorb the honey.

Coconut oil is another home remedy that helps to moisturize the skin and reduce the dryness and flakiness of the skin.  It also leaves you smelling good.

Having a bath with natural ingredients is a great way to relax and at the same time moisturize and soothe the skin.  An oatmeal bath is very effective.  Honey or coconut oil added to the bath water is also quite effective.  These remedies have been used for many years to treat eczema and other skin conditions and are great for children because they are sensitive and safe.

Another home remedy is to go out into the sun.  The UV rays of the sun have natural healing powers and although you don't want to be in the sun long enough to get burnt, some time in the sun can definitely help with your eczema symptoms.  Tanning salons can also be useful if the weather is not good enough to go outside and bask in the sun.

The Dead Sea has been popular for people to treat many illnesses and its main healing component is actually the sea salt.  You can copy this method in your own home by adding some sea salt to a warm bath.  This can help to reduce the itchiness of eczema and the rash.  You may need to try some different home remedy treatments for eczema until you try one that works for you.

Hide Stretchmarks So Noone Can See

Your skin is the largest organ of your body and because it is on the outside it is the first thing people see so, how do you hide stretchmarks or other skin imperfections? One way is to use concealers.

The problem with a lot of the concealers you can buy over the counter, though, is that they are heavy and usually end up caking in your wrinkles and lines making you look even more hideous than you did without it. Just kidding about the hideous part. But they can make you look worse than you would with nothing at all.

If you are trying to hide stretchmarks with a concealer then the problem would be doing so without getting the stuff all over your clothes. You could just be content to cover them up with the clothes you wear. Styles are such that layering is very in these days and that can be very useful if you are trying to cover something up like an extra bulge or even stretch marks.

There is a product called Smart Cover and it is a concealer that will cover just about anything flawlessly. Once you put it on it stays on and will not come off until you take it off. It can cover a multitude of sins including stretch marks, blemishes and even freckles. It is available on the internet for around $30.

Another product that I found during my research on this subject is something called Bio-Oil. Bio-Oil is intended to reduce the appearance of stretch marks by rubbing it into the skin twice a day for 3 months, minimum. Safe to use during your pregnancy after the beginning of the second trimester, it can help prevent the stretch marks from starting by keeping the skin soft and supple.

Anyone can use Bio-Oil, pregnant women, weight lifters, people who have gained weight and even teenagers who have sprouted like weeds and grown six inches in a year. The odds that you will develop stretch marks depends on several factors. Age, because the older you get the less collagen and elastin is produced; skin type, because those with drier skin will develop them more easily; race, because the fairer you are the more prone to stretch marks you are.

Diet and hydration status also play a big role in the formation of stretch marks. If you do not get the recommended daily allowances of some vital nutrients and you do not drink enough water every day then you are also more prone to the development of stretch marks. These factors have to continually occur over some time to have the adverse effects and if this is your case stretch marks may be the least of your worries.

Bio-Oil is available for purchase over the counter at any of your favorite pharmacies, discount stores or grocery stores for under $20 for a four ounce bottle.

So, to hide stretchmarks you can use these products or do some more research and find some other products. I profiled these two here because they seem like they would be very effective and were very reasonably priced.

Get Rid Of Mucoid Plaque With Ejuva Cleanse

Are you suffering negative health effects from accumulated mucoid plaque?

The Ejuva Cleanse is a 4-6 stage intense all natural cleanse program designed to rid your body of this waste and restore your bodily systems to its optimum level. The term mucoid plaque, coined by naturopath Richard Anderson, is the product of years of accumulated waste and mucus solidifying and adhering to the walls of organs.

The accumulation of this plaque can prevent digestion, nutritional absorption and is possibly the source of many pathogens.  There is much scientific debate as to the legitimacy of this plaque but naturopath practitioners recognize it as a real threat to our health.

After years of exposure to the various toxins, preservatives and pesticides, this plaque becomes thick and difficult for the body to eliminate without assistance. The components of the Ejuva Cleanse are much more potent than eating fresh fruits and vegetables alone.  In fact the components are so effective that people who have been eating 100% raw foods for years still experience significant mucoid plaque elimination after cleansing with the Ejuva program.

The ingredients are 100% organic or wild and contain no fillers or bentonite.  Bentonite clay powder is added (unscrupulously) to some intestinal cleansers to create the look of mucus and other material in stool.  Not so with the Ejuva Cleanse.

So what exactly is mucoid plaque made of?

According to naturopathy, when poisons, toxins, and parasites remain in the body they can calcify and cause damage to the organs, the blood stream, and the brain.

* Poisons - can come from tap water or the pesticides found on unwashed food.

* Toxins- can come from alcohol, nicotine, caffeine and environmental pollution.

* Parasites and Bacteria - are often found in improperly cooked meats, poultry and dairy products. These parasites can live inside a host for several years undetected.  When you consume the improperly cooked meat these organisms can wreak havoc on your immune and digestive system.

* Accumulated Waste-  according to naturopaths mucus, fecal matter, and old dead blood cells collect in the walls of your intestine and bowels, and over time becomes become hard and sticky.  This hard and sticky substance is mucoid plaque and it can make the body septic, cause energy loss and illness.

Your digestive tract can be adversely affected by excess fatty, rich or refined foods, sugar and lack of fiber and whole foods. Intestinal cleansing programs such as the Ejuva Cleanse aid in repairing the damage these substances cause to your small and large intestines. This is why regular cleansing is very crucial to overall health and maintaining the level of toxins in the body.

Eliminate Toxins With A Healing Cleanse

If you want to maintain your health you must take care to do healthy things.  This means plenty of rest, pure natural water, an all-natural diet that contains no pesticides or preservatives and a healing cleanse once every few months.

Chemicals and pesticides are everywhere and our bodies normally do an excellent job of eliminating waste but the human body was not designed to filter out the massive levels of chemicals we're being exposed to in the 21st century.  By cleansing and detoxifying your body you're ridding your system of all the toxins left over from normal elimination.

The easiest healing cleanse is simply replacing your usual diet with one consisting of mostly water and fresh fruits and vegetables. The cleansing diet is very controlled and meat, dairy, alcohol, and bread are off limits.  This allows your body to absorb fewer calories and purge itself of all the undigested food, waste and toxins.

Cleansing is good for the body when done properly and for short periods of time.  It is also recommended that you consult with a physician or dietician if you have any health problems.  The first couple of days of a cleanse may cause fluctuations in blood sugar and prolonged misuse can result in malnutrition. Furthermore since this program is low in protein and complex carbohydrates, muscle growth and energy will be compromised.  Therefore, it is important that you don't remain on your healing cleanse for more than 10 days.

If your diet is very poor or you're feeling fatigued, you may want a more thorough cleanse.  There are several intestinal cleansing programs on the market. When evaluating a product make sure that the ingredients are all natural and that the program explains what to expect during the cleansing.  Most programs will provide you with step-by-step instructions on when and how to complete the program but the better ones will also provide you with recipes and/or a shopping guide for the foods and drinks that you will need.

A healing cleanse may be completed in a number of ways, depending on your present digestive health and how far you're ready to jump in.  No matter what method you choose to use, the primary goal is to decrease your consumption of chemicals, fat, refined sugar and other substances that are unhealthy.  When your body is allowed to heal itself with the help of an all-natural cleanse, you will feel and see the difference in your energy levels, skin clarity and overall health.

Effective And Easy Eczema Home Remedy-Common Skin Condition

Eczema is a very common skin condition and can take a number of forms and so finding an eczema home remedy can be useful for whatever type of eczema you have.  Prescribed medications can be expensive, not to mention they can give you side effects.

You will quite possibly have a number of natural ingredients around the home that you can use to treat the symptoms of eczema.  There are a number of foods that can be applied to the skin to ease symptoms as well as foods for your diet that can reduce eczema.  There are also a number of herbal extracts that are made into solutions to treat eczema.

There is no cure for eczema and no prescribed or natural remedy will cure it.  However, there are many eczema home remedies that people use that are so effective you barely notice that they have eczema at all.  You can visit your doctor and ask for prescribed medications but remember that each time you visit your GP it will cost you and over the years it can get quite expensive.

Oatmeal is one ingredient that is widely used to treat a range of skin conditions and it is quite effective at reducing the appearance of eczema.  When you apply warm oatmeal to your skin it will help to moisten the skin and it can also help to relieve itching.

Many people flock to the Dead Sea to treat all sorts of skin related conditions.  The ingredient in the Dead Sea that is healing is the sea salt and this can be simulated at home.  Fill up the bath with warm water and add some sea salt and relax!  If your eczema is in a small area you can use a bowl to mix some warm water with sea salt and apply to the affected area.

Honey is another eczema home remedy that you will possibly find in your kitchen.  There are a number of different methods for using honey including adding it to a warm bath, an unscented lotion or an oatmeal mixture and apply it to the skin.  If you apply honey directly to the skin on its own it will be quite sticky and messy so it is much easier to mix it with another ingredient.

Taking a walk outside in the warm sunlight can also help with eczema.  The light from the sun has healing abilities although you don't want to be in the sun long enough to become burnt.  Tanning beds can also give the same results so when it is cold outside you can visit the nearest tanning salon to get your dose of sunlight.

Applying ointments and pastes to your skin is not the only way to treat eczema.  Changing your diet can also make a big change to the severity of your skin condition.  Eczema is not necessarily related to a food allergy, however there are some foods that can slow the body down which makes it more difficult to deal with things like eczema.  There are also some foods that have healing properties that you can add to your diet.

Sugar can cause eczema to flare up so try limiting the amount of sugar in your diet.  Children especially tend to eat way too much sugar these days which doesn't help skin conditions like eczema at all.  If you do have a food allergy then it could also cause your eczema or make it worse so avoid any foods that you are intolerant to.

Although there is no cure for eczema and it may flare up at any time during your life, some simple eczema home remedy solutions can help reduce the severity and make dealing with your eczema much easier.

Eczema Herbal Remedy Solutions-Medicine From The Past

Back in ancient times we didn't have the modern medicine that we have today.  All people had to treat their ailments were herbal remedies.  In time pharmaceuticals were created replacing many herbal remedies and these became more and more popular.  At one point it was only 'new age' people that used herbal treatments.

Now things are changing and people are seeking out herbal remedies again.  Eczema is one condition that people look for natural treatments.  There are a number of eczema herbal remedy solutions that can help to treat the symptoms of the condition.

There is no cure for eczema and this is one reason that people search for eczema herbal remedy solutions.  The other reason is that pharmaceutical medicines can be quite expensive for an ongoing condition.  Many prescribed creams or medicines don't have much effect on eczema and even when they do it isn't long before the symptoms return.

Although herbal treatments are not a cure for eczema they are quite effective at treating the symptoms.  Symptoms of eczema include rash, dry skin, flaking or scaly skin and itching.  There are dozens of different eczema herbal remedy solutions and you may need to try a few to find one that works well for you.

There are many herbal or health stores that will sell the herbs needed for these remedies.  You can also find online stores that will stock the herbs that you are looking for.  There are never any shortages of the effective herbs for treating this condition.

Some herbal remedies for eczema will require that you make a paste with the herbs and then apply the paste to the affected areas.  Some remedies require eating the herbs to gain the benefits from them.

So what types of herbs are helpful in treating eczema?

Let's take a look at some useful herbs and in some cases a combination of herbs works well.

Aloe is one herb that is very effective for many skin conditions.  Aloe is found in many moisturizing creams and works by moisturizing the skin.  Dry skin is one of the symptoms of eczema and the aloe works well to counter the dry skin.

Calendula herb is also very good when made into a cream and applied to the skin.  This will soothe the skin so it is particularly good for skin that is red and inflamed.  Oregon grape root and witch hazel are two other herbs that work in a similar way.

Another good eczema herbal remedy solution is to add rosemary to your bath water.  Rosemary will help stimulate circulation in the skin which will assist with healing.  Oat straw is another herb that will give similar results.

Chickweed or turmeric can be used in poultices and applied to the affected skin areas.  This will help the skin to heal and will also relieve the pain and itching cause by eczema.

People have different triggers for their eczema and people will respond differently to treatments.  A treatment that works for one person will not necessarily work for you so it is a matter of trial and error and you will soon find the right eczema herbal remedy solution that works for you.
